Wilde Review - Julep Plie Wand

It's not that often that I do reviews here at WITC, but I just had to tell you about this fun little product! I was actually contacted by Julep and asked if I wanted to review their new Plie Wand. Guess what? I was already using, and loving, the wand! They just gave me a fun idea for a blog post. Read on if you want to learn about a way to make personal manicures easier.

First things first, what is Julep? If you've never heard of Julep before, they are a nail polish (and make-up) company. You can become a Julep Maven and have three fabulous nail polishes sent to you each month. (Click through here to check it out!) I'm an It girl, which apparently means I'm confident and frilly. It also means I tend to get bright and trendy colors each month. The color you see below is Celia, it's my absolute favorite!

I have a large collection of Julep colors and recently bought the Plie wand to go along with them. I took a bunch of photos of the process of using the wand and painting my names with Celia. If you want a video to see how it works, check out this Youtube video from Julep. The wand is super easy to use. Slip the sleeve over the nail polish brush, the wand is magnetic and pops right on!

I've been using the wand for a few weeks now (it also fits onto my Butter London bottles!) and it makes giving myself a manicure so easy! The plie wand basically turns the nail brush into a paint brush. It becomes easier to handle, even with my left hand.

The Plie kit also comes with a fine brush and a detailing tool. I haven't used them yet, but I've been eyeing up a few nail art tutorials on youtube. This kit used to be available only at Julep, but I recently saw it at Sephora! Pick it up this week and score bonus beauty insider points and a free Julep polish (Use code - COLORTREAT). It's less expensive at Julep, but you don't get the free polish.

Disclaimer - This is not a sponsored post, I just wanted to share a fun new product with you!
