Stitch Fix #4 - August 2013

It's time for another Stitch Fix!  I can't believe that it's already my fourth fix. (Check out fixes #1, #2#3 & #5!)  This month I asked for a few summer-to-fall transition pieces.  Melanie was my stylist this month and for the most part did a great job! (Not sure what Stitch Fix is?  I did a total review last month!)

Boyfriend and I had a good time shooting the pics for this months fix too.  I'm turning him into a regular photographer!  We headed to our local NJT platform and tried not to melt too much in the afternoon heat.

There is a bright spot in my fix for you this month too!  I loved four of the five items.  Basically if I kept everything, the fourth and fifth items were just about free.  (You get a 25% discount if you keep everything)  Since I wasn't in love with the last item, I'm giving it away!  If you like it and wear a size medium, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post to sign up for the giveaway!

Kut from the Kloth 5-Pocket Knit Pants

These pants are super comfy and should be perfect when fall rolls around.  When we shot these pictures though, I was so warm!  They're like an updated version of the leggings I wore in middle school.  Can't wait to pair then with some riding boots and grab an apple cider.  (Worn with - Shirt: ISANI / Shoes: Tahari)

Tulle Mini Dot Crew Neck Sweater

This little sweater is just what I was looking for to layer over a button down.  The theme of this post seems to be polka dots!  (Worn with - Shirt: Gap / Pants: Michael Kors / Shoes: Rocketdog)

Collective Concepts Triangle Print Cap Sleeve Blouse

Collective Concepts is becoming one of my favorite labels.  The colors and prints of their clothes are just so much fun!  This is more of a summer top, but I'm hoping there are a few good weeks of heat left in this summer!  (Worn with - Jeans: 7 for all Mankind / Shoes: Ralph Lauren / Bag: Kate Spade)

41Hawthorne Mini Dot Tab-Sleeve Blouse

41Hawthorne is a label made specifically for Stitch Fix.  I was pleased to see that the quality and fit was pretty good!  I can totally see wearing this to my new job, whenever I find one!  (Worn with - skirt: DKNY / belt: J Crew / necklace: Charming Charlies / shoes: Michael Kors)

Aryeh Flower Print Skirt

And here we come to the giveaway piece!  I didn't really fall in love with this skirt.  It could use a good pass over by an iron.  It's a little hard to tell from with the print, but there is a sweet bow on the back.  If you wear a medium/size 6 and like the skirt - sign up for the giveaway below!  What would you wear it with?  Comment for the first entry and get a few other entries quickly too!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Thanks Melanie for such a fun fix!  Here's hoping I find a new gig so I can keep the boxes coming!  Want to try Stitch Fix?  Here's a referral link for you!  (FYI - they give me a $25 credit if you decide to try them out!)

  1. Found it! I was smart and just replaced "city" in your other blog URL haha. Looks great, hope my 3rd fix is better than the first two. Only liked one item in each.

  10. Thanks for this great opportunity. I would probably pair it with a plain tank and cardigan since the dress looks so voluminous.
