Wilde Favorites - Comfy Traveling

When you're sitting on a plane for eight hours or more, you don't want to be regretting your wardrobe choices. Being comfortable, but presentable is key for a long haul flight. When dressing for a flight, it's all about layers. Bring a fuzzy sweater that can double as blanket or pillow. Wrap on a scarf to ward off the chilly air conditioning. Toss a pair of fuzzy socks in your carry on bag.

Styling a Sheath Dress

Since starting my new job and transitioning to a business role, I've changed my work wardrobe drastically. Working in the lab, I wore jeans, comfy tops and closed-toe shoes. These days you're most likely to find me wearing a dress and heels. I've added a number of simple sheath dresses to my closet because they are so versatile. My favorite brand is Hugo Boss, they make a beautiful dress. Here are some of my favorite ways to style my simple sheath.

Spring in Blue

Yesterday brought our first spring rainstorm. While I'm always a bigger fan of sunshine rather than rain, I was just happy that it wasn't snowing!  With the rain, I find myself wearing softer colors, including baby pink, mint green and of course, powder blue.

Floral fun for Spring!

With another snow storm on tap for this weekend, I'm left dreaming of tulips, sunny evenings and outfits without twelve layers. I'm really looking forward to my business trip in two weeks, because I'm heading to Singapore and Singapore is on the equator.  Bring on the heat!

Once spring does arrive, I'm planning on looking like the season itself. Floral everything. I even have my eyes on these Ted Baker rain boots. Maybe we need to start wearing floral and then spring will follow? Do we need to tempt the season out of hiding? Let's all pretend we're tulips and show our springtime colors!

Wilde Spring 2014 Colors

Personally, I don't care for the Pantone color for Spring 2014, Radiant Orchid.  What am I planning on wearing this spring?  Lots of vibrant and rich colors!
